Teura. Between the Sun and the Sand

1926. Young Sofia Yablonska, daughter of a Ukrainian priest, leaves her divided homeland to pursue her dream of becoming an actress in Paris. But beneath her ambition lies a deeper force — a childhood prophecy that she is destined for something greater.

In Paris, she immerses herself in the world of artists and bohemians, discovering her voice through writing and photography. When she learns of a job for a male foreign correspondent, Sofia follows her French artist boyfriend to Morocco — secretly gathering material to claim the position. There, immersed in local life, she encounters the story of a silenced woman and begins to understand her own path.

Returning to Paris, she faces admiration and loss. Choosing a different path, Sofia becomes a global storyteller — giving voice to those unseen, and finding herself between the sun and the sand.
