Raffey Cassidy, Andrea Riseborough, Alessandro Nivola and Guy Pearce have joined the cast of High End, the debut feature from director Antonia Campbell-Hughes. Production is underway in County Clare, Ireland.
The film brings together four performers better known for working in strikingly different registers — a combination that Campbell-Hughes describes as "entirely deliberate."
I wanted people who do not share a grammar. When they meet on screen, something unpredictable has to happen — and the film lives or dies in that unpredictability.
— Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Director
Set across a single summer on the Atlantic coast, High End follows a grieving translator (Cassidy) who returns to her late mother's cottage and slowly finds her solitude interrupted by three strangers, each carrying a different version of the truth.
Principal photography wraps in late summer, with post-production scheduled through the autumn. A festival premiere is targeted for early 2027, with HIGHBIT handling international sales.
